The award for the longest and one of the hardest names of crystals out there goes to... Botryoidal Chalcedony (BC for short). This funky looking crystal is formed and grown in hydrothermal environments at temperatures between 100°C and 450°C, this being prime Quartz growing conditions.

As well as Moganite which both have the same chemical formula of Silicon Dioxide, add the fact that this crystal wants to form its molecular level out-wards compared to inwards and...BAM! You have a BC.
